Military troops who are deployed for extended periods of time put a great deal of burden on their families as well as themselves.
However, despite these difficulties, people frequently ignore the predicament of their cherished pets. These devoted friends also experience separation anxiety since they are unable to understand the absence of their human counterparts.
For U.S. Army E4 Specialist Troy Glendenning, who has spent the last eight months stationed in the Middle East, being apart from his beloved dog, Posie, has been especially difficult.
Posie has been eagerly awaiting her human’s return, missing him since the time he left.
Posie did not know her human was returning home, but she gets a strange sense when she goes outside. Barking, she dashes outside in circles until she spots him.
Troy was worried about Posie’s response, but he never imagined how much sweeter her answer would be.
Posie lost control of her excitement as soon as she saw him. She ran to him and jumped into his arms, kissing every inch of his face and waving her tail frantically.
During the COVID quarantine, Troy and Posie became close, and their loving reunion makes it clear how much closer they are now.
They are both ecstatic to be back together, and they want to spend every moment together catching up on lost time.
